At Magic, we care about the developer experience. After we first introduced monthly subscription plans, we learned there was an opportunity to iterate on pricing, based on your questions and feedback.

Today, we’re excited to share details on our new, more developer-friendly pricing model.

#Pay As You Go

Pay as you go pricing makes costs crystal clear, so you know exactly what you’re paying. It’s $0.0085 per login. With fair pricing protection, you only pay a max of 4 logins per user in a given month. After that, that user’s logins are free.

This new pricing model is similar to Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) and Twilio’s, where you only pay for what you use.

Alongside this pricing update, we are also introducing a shiny new referrals program to share Magic with more members of the developer community.

For every friend you invite who signs up, you’ll both get 3,000 bonus logins added to your accounts. Share your unique referral link with 30 friends and you can earn up to 90,000 total free credits.
